Recently Lindores Construction Logistics was featured on the Chronicle’s website as its last tower crane was removed from the Grand Central redevelopment site. At the peak of construction there were 5 tower cranes in operation for the $500 million redevelopment. Watch the dismantle video below.
The last tower crane was removed from the Grand Central redevelopment site on Saturday. At its peak there were once five tower cranes operating. This crane was installed in February last year to build and construct the car park structure.
It is a Favelle Favco M220DX, and has a working capacity of 28 tonnes. More stages of Grand Central’s $500 million redevelopment will be unveiled this year. The next significant portion is expected to open before Easter.
